Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She was Anna Garner the leading role in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg is her debut role in a film. She appeared as Brenda Woodberg in Babysitters. Krause began her career with drama in college after which she appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway productions and in episodes of New York based TV shows. Professionally, her parents are of American and Japanese descent. Nathaniel, Nathaniel's brother, is a highly successful director. She found her interest in the arts at a young stage by attending the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she was in high school, dance took a back seat when she began performing in the Henry Kriegers and Bill Russell's various musicals and plays including Side Show as Violet Hilton. The fall of Senior year she began her studies in Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause's professional journey began after she felt ready. She earned her Equity card by performing in a musical production of Aida. Louisa Krause began her career as a theatre actress. She was in the Huntington Theater Company's production of the play Iphigenia in 2006. She was Iphigenia in the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 in 2007.
